IMPORTANT ANTIQUE TOOL AUCTION In Two Sessions To be held at our Gallery 76 Main Street – Amesbury, MA Session I-Tuesday-April 22nd at 4 p.m. Session II-Wednesday-April 23rd at 10 a.m. Single owner auction featuring over 3,500 carpenter and woodworking tools from the collection of Tom Davis, Tarpon Springs Florida, who had an eye for the unusual and great quality. He traveled the states as well as other countries amassing this fine collection over a period of 50 years.
The tools will be sold unreserved, individually and in lots !
The auction will include a varied collection of all types of planes in wood, ivory and metal from the 18th century up.
Including a Henley optical mitre plane, Stanley Pattern Makers planes, Excelsior cutter metallic plane, Norris planes, 18th Century Clifford molding plane, Phillips patent plug plane, router planes, French Plough plane, Infil plane, miniature planes, and hundreds more including American, English, Dutch and German; Bit Braces including Henry Pasley, Spoffords, Plumb Bobs; Dietzen ivory, dozens in brass, many sizes; calipers; chisels; spoke shaves; Cooper tools;carriage maker tools; V elander and other levels; Wheel Wright tools; Japanese tools; ship building tools; fly fishing rod makers tools; chisels; violin makers tools; Trammels; dividers; braces; saws; axes; gauges; draw shaves; augers; stamps and marking sets; taps and digs; bores; reamers; very fine carpenter tool chests and other tool related accessories.
