collected veraciously as well as inherited from a number of allied families who
lived in both Chicago and Manhatten.

Canadian and Arctic exploration, Native Americans and their decorative
arts, Canoeing, Inuits, American Revolutionary War; Novels and poetry by
William Shakespeare, Keats and Shelley, Marlowe, Bierce, Douglas, as well as
plays etc.

Born
April 25, 1935 in Manhattan, N.Y. to John Robert Gregg, inventor of Gregg
shorthand, and Janet Kinley Gregg, daughter of economist David Kinley, he
worked briefly as an editor for the Sierra Club in San Francisco before moving
to York, Maine in 1967, where he lived the rest of his life winter, spring and
fall. Summers he spent at his beloved cottage on the French River, Ontario.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY OPTIONS FOR THIS ONSITE AUCTION ONLY: Address for pick is
Jungle Road, York, Maine. Pick up will be on Mon, Feb 8 and Tues, Feb 9th from
9-4pm and Wed, Feb 10 from 9-12. Winning
bidders must provide boxes and paper and are responsible for removal and
loading of all items. Smaller items will be available for curbside pickup. A
representative will be there to assist but the winning bidder assumes any and
all responsibility for any damage or injury that should take place once they
are on the property.
ITEMS
NOT PICKED UP DURING ALLOTTED TIME WILL BE CONSIDERED FORFEITED WITHOUT REFUND,
NO EXCEPTIONS, UNLESS PRIOR ARRANGEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE WITH THE AUCTION HOUSE.
Unless prior acceptable pick up or shipping arrangements have been agreed upon,
a storage charge of up to $25 a day could be applied to any item left on premise after agreed upon
date. Items not picked up may also be subject to a disposal fee charge,
depending on size and unwieldiness of a particular item.
